Cup venues announced
Although the league season concludes on 1st May, the following week sees the finals of the three cup competitions. The following day the final of the Vandanel Trophy between Leighton Town and Windsor & Eton will be played at Chesham United with a 7.30 start. Ryman League AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Ryman League will be held at Harrow Borough on Monday 14th June, two days after the traditional end of season Dinner and Dance at the London Hilton.
Hampton have appointed Steve Cordery as their new manager. He will officially take up his post at the end of the season.
Hampton are set to play under the name of Hampton & Richmond Borough from next season. They are the only senior club playing in the London Borough of Richmond, but have been finding it very hard to attract financial support from areas of the Borough outside Hampton.
Despite the company which had been running Carshalton Athletic going into liquidation, the Surrey club will be playing on. Their membership of the League was transferred to a new company beforehand.
Ryman League Cup
The League has announced that main sponsor Ryman is to extend its backing for the competition by putting its name to the League Cup until the end of the 2000/2001 season.
Mid-August kick off for
